Knoll, previously known as Knoll Inc. and now part of MillerKnoll, Inc., is a renowned American company that specializes in manufacturing office systems, seating, storage systems, tables, desks, textiles, and accessories for home, office, and educational settings. The company has a distinguished reputation for producing high-quality furniture designed by renowned architects and designers such as Harry Bertoia, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich, Florence Knoll, Frank Gehry, Charles Gwathmey, Maya Lin, Marcel Breuer, Eero Saarinen, and Lella and Massimo Vignelli, through its KnollStudio division. With over 40 of its designs permanently displayed in the prestigious design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the company was established in 1938 by founder Hans Knoll in New York City before moving its production facilities to Pennsylvania in 1950.
